Hereunder are summed up the three steps in the in itinere processes:
STEP 1: concerning the Procedure of Admission to the candidature, requiring from ACES the study of the applications coming from the municipalities interested in this recognition. The Town Administrations will have to answer an informative questionnaire, the answers of which will be evaluated by ACES. At the end of this first step, ACES will select the candidate Town Administrations accepted for the second step.
STEP 2: concerning the “Application Procedure”, requiring the presentation of an Application File from the Town Administrations (detailed description of the Project of Application), which will be prone to a technical evaluation and a future visit of the installations, left to the Evaluation Commission of ACES. The Evaluation Commission will meet the institutional representatives of the Town Administration and will assess the candidate Municipality, assigning a weighted score on the basis of the criteria planned in the document “Eligibility Criteria”. The voting obtained will be communicated in accordance with the regulations.
STEP 3: concerning the “recognition of title and flag” in the belonging category, plans a series of initiatives in case of victory.

During the year of the obtainment of the title

Ceremony/European event with a sport and cultural value, to which will be invited all the institutional representatives of all the Town Administrations, which have obtained the recognitions from ACES during the same year
